Da der Rückbau des Terassengeheges etwas aufwendiger ist, haben wir erstmal nur ein Teilstück geöffnet. Und los geht's - Pelle und Smilla müssen natürlich erstmal gucken, was es da so Interessantes gibt.
Da wir in den letzen Monaten vor allem am Katzengehege gearbeitet haben und unser Garten sowieso noch sehr im Werden ist, gibt es noch jede Menge Ecken mit herumliegendem Baumaterial oder begonnenen und zukünftigen Gartenprojekten.
Manche Holzstapel etc. müssen auch erstmal bleiben, da Eidechsen oder Blindschleichen eingezogen sind.

Removing the inner cat pen showed to be a bit tricky, so for the moment, we just opened it on one side to let the cats out in the large, garden-sized pen.
Pelle and Smilla are first, examining everything very thoroughly.
Cat-proofing the pen fence was a quite difficult and longish job, so the rest of the garden contains acutally of meadow and several garden projects in the making, with heaps and stacks of all kinds of material in all kind of places. For the cats, these are usually the most interesting spaces, as insects, reptiles (we have lizards and blindworms) and small rodents hide and live there.
